In 1913 he was the secretary-treasurer of the Pease Pacific Foundry Limited.
In 1921 he was the secretary of the Duplex Motor Company.
He worked briefly in Powell River, British Columbia.
He died in Powell River on November 16, 1924. He was buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Thomas’s wife, Edith, died in Vancouver on February 3, 1957.

John Morton Medforth was born in Vancouver on April 9, 1910.
In 1911 and 1921 he was living with his parents.
He worked as a paper maker in Powell River, British Columbia.
On January 1, 1929, in Vancouver, he married Eleanor Bonning Dunn. She was born in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, on April 20, 1912. Her parents were Robert Dunn and Elizabeth Mayes.
Eleanor died on September 21, 1986, in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
John died in New Westminster, British Columbia, on February 16, 1993.
Tom William Medforth
Tom William Medforth was born in Vancouver on July 3, 1921.
He worked as a boat and ship builder.
On October 25, 1940, in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, he married Irene Giske. She was born in Norway on March 20, 1919. Her parents were Carl Emil and Inga Henrietta Giske.
Irene died on Gambier Island on May 22, 2003.
Tom died on July 1, 2004.
Helen Rymal Medforth
Helen Rymal Medforth was born about 1913, in British Columbia, probably in Vancouver.
In 1935 she was a nurse at the Vancouver General Hospital.
In 1938 she was studying public health nursing at the University of British Columbia.

Edith Eileen Medforth
Edith Eileen Medforth was born on October 27, 1914, in British Columbia, probably in Vancouver. (She was often called “Eileen.”)
In 1935 she was a nurse at the Vancouver General Hospital.
By 1940, she was married to John Edward Ardell, Junior, who was an insurance salesman. He was born in British Columbia on June 22, 1912. His parents were John Edward Ardell (1880-1949) and Mary Barclay (1888-1957). John Edward Ardell senior was a machinery salesman and manager of the Duplex Machinery Company, where Thomas Medforth worked in 1921.
John Edward Ardell later became a character actor in the Hollywood film industry, using the name “John Ardell.”
In the 1950s, John Ardell, Junior and Eileen lived in Merced, California.
John died in Los Angeles, California on October 13, 1963.
It appears that Eileen was briefly married to Roy Fremont Holcomb. He was born in California on August 20, 1909. The marriage was on April 29, 1972; it ended in divorce in August 1972.
Eileen died on April 25, 2001.
