Bruno Thomas was a mining engineer who lived at 1968 Georgia Street in 1900.

Bruno Thomas was born in Arendal, Norway, on October 4, 1859. (It appears that his given name at birth was Bronlund Thomas.)

He married Dagmar Kildal, who was born in Norway on June 10, 1862.

The Thomas family arrived in Canada in the late 1890s.

In 1898 Bruno was the superintendent of the Comstock Mine, which was about 10 miles from Silverton, British Columbia.

In 1900 and 1901 the Thomases were living in Vancouver. Bruno was working as a mining engineer.

In 1900 they were at 1968 Georgia Street. In 1901 they were at 32 East 11th Avenue.

Bruno became a representative of Vancouver capitalist syndicates who were investing in mines in the Kootenay area of British Columbia.

In 1902 Bruno and his family moved to the United States.

By 1903, he was living in Seattle, Washington, and working as a civil engineer.

In 1905 Bruno became a naturalized United States citizen.

In 1910 and 1920, Bruno and Dagmar were living in Seattle.

Dagmar died in Seattle on August 6, 1927. She was buried in Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Lake Forest Park, King County, Washington.

Bruno died in Seattle on January 10, 1938. He was buried in Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Lake Forest Park.

Bruno and Dagmar had the following children.

 

Gezina Thomas

Gezina Thomas was born in Christiana (later Oslo), Norway, on September 28, 1894.

In 1915 she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority at the University of Washington.

On October 20, 1917, in King County, Washington, she married Ewart S. Upper. He was born in Washington State on May 21, 1892.

Gezina died in Washington State on February 10, 1979.

Ewart died in Washington State on August 23, 1993.

 

Christina Thomas

Christina Thomas was born in Christiana (later Oslo), Norway, on November 24, 1896.
