Kenneth was born on August 26, 1889, in Llandrinio, Llanfyllin, Wales. His father was George Arthur Craig; his mother was Maude Alice Murrell.

Kenneth Craig first appeared in the Vancouver directories in 1913. He was working as an engineer for the A. Walker Automobile Company at 1840 Georgia Street. Archibald Walker was the proprietor of the business, which sold DeTamble, Rambler and Pierce Arrow Motor Cars. He was originally from Nova Scotia, and he was only in his 20s when he lived in Vancouver. It appears that the Walker company later sold a 1915 Pierce Arrow to Benjamin Tingley Rogers. Archibald was married in 1918; but he died of influenza in 1919.

By 1915, Kenneth was working for the Ross Motor Company Limited, and was living at 1145 Robson Street. Alan Lachlan Cranmer Ross was the president of the company, which sold Excelsior motor cycles. Alan Ross enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in December 1915.

On June 2, 1916, in Victoria, Kenneth enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, where he served until he was discharged on February 24, 1919.

He listed his mother has his next of kin: Mrs. Muriel Alice Craig, Preesgweene Hall, Preesgweene, Salop, Shropshire, England.

He gave his address as the Manhattan Apartments at 1017 Robson Street.

It is not clear what Kenneth did after he was discharged from the military at the end of the First World War; he did not appear in the Vancouver directories again until 1927.

In 1929 and 1930 he was living at 2970 West Fifth Avenue. In 1930 he was an engineer with a freighting and towing company called Vancouver-Courtenay Transportation Company Limited.

In 1931, he had moved to 1023 Robson Street and was working as an engineer for Vancouver Barge Transportation Limited.

In 1932, he moved to 3375 West Second Avenue, where he continued to live for the rest of his life. The owners of the house were Alfred Crawford Noble MacKay (1887-1961) and his wife, Greta Lillian Irwin (1892-1982).

The Vancouver directories gave his Kenneth’s occupation as “engineer” until at least 1955.

He never married.

He died in Vancouver on January 13, 1959.
