Blaine Walter Harmon was the president of Dominion Iron Works Limited. He lived at 1815 Alberni Street in 1915 and 1916.

Blaine Walter Harmon was born in Seattle, Washington, on December 12, 1881. His father was Walter Harmon (1832-1918). Blaine’s mother was Elizabeth (“Libbie”) Robinson.

Walter Harmon was a boat builder in Seattle.

Blaine was in Seattle for his early years. In 1900 he was employed as an iron worker.

On July 29, 1908, in Victoria, British Columbia, Blaine married Libbie S. Scott, who was a widow. She was born Elizabeth S. Veo in Monguagon, Michigan, on March 1, 1882. Her father was Mitchell Veo. Her mother was Margaret Perry.

Libbie’s first marriage, to Jerome W. Scott, was on March 23, 1903, in Lucas, Ohio. Jerome was born in Toledo, Ohio, about 1880, and he worked as a clerk. His father was William H. Scott. His mother was Mary E. Dewyer. Jerome died in Spokane, Washington, on June 7, 1908.

In 1910, Blaine and Libbie were living in Seattle. Blaine was a machinist.

Blaine first appeared in the Vancouver directories in 1914. He was the president of Dominion Iron Works, and he was living at 364 East 48th Avenue.

Blaine and Libbie stayed in Vancouver until about 1916. By 1918, when Blaine registered with the United States military draft system, he and Libbie were back in Seattle. Blaine was a boilermaker foreman.

In 1920, Blaine and Libbie were in Oakland, California. Blaine was a boilermaker in a shipyard.

In 1930 and 1940, they were still in Oakland. Blaine was a sheet metal worker in 1930. In 1940 he was a shipfitter.

In 1942, Blaine registered with the United States military draft. He was working at Richmond Shipbuilding Company, which was at Richmond, Contra Costa in California. He was living at 3515 Ohio Avenue in Richmond.

In the late 1940s, Blaine and Libbie lived in the Ben Lomond area near Santa Cruz, California.

Blaine died in Santa Cruz on May 3, 1951.

Libbie died in Santa Cruz on September 6, 1951.

It appears that Blaine and Libbie did not have any children.
