Emerson Fee was married in Ottawa, Ontario, on December 14, 1898, to Rachel Wallace “Ella” Cooper. Ella’s father was Robert Wallace Cooper (1840-1907); her mother was Adaline Anderson (1845-1924). Ella died on February 3, 1900 in Three Rivers, Quebec.
In 1903, in St. Hubert, Quebec, Emerson married Louise Irene Payan. She was born on May 11, 1883; her father was Paul Frederique Payan (1840-1921; her mother was Olympe Duclos (born 1849).
Emerson Fee died in 1940, and he was buried in Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal. Louise died in 1972. She was buried in Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal.
Emerson and Louise had a son named Morton Elston Fee. He was born on August 8, 1915, in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec. He married Pauline Cantwell Strachan (1919-1999). He became the president and general manager of the Canada Starch Company in Montreal. M. Elston Fee and Pauline Strachan had one son and three daughters.
