[. . .] and Keith were called, but before any medical assistance could be given the man had passed away. The authorities were notified of the sad occurrence and the body removed to Armstrong & Edwards’ undertaking establishment, where it now lies, awaiting funeral arrangements. The coroner has been notified but as the doctors put the cause of death down to heart – failure, it is not probable that an inquest will be considered necessary. Mr. Willetts was a native of Birmingham, England aged 52 years, and had been a resident of Vancouver four years. Until January last he was city traveller for the Bristol Candy company, but since then had been doing little, owing to ill – health. He leaves a wife and six children, two of whom. Mrs. R.J.
