Denman Dye Works was at 990 Denman Street from 1913 to 1916.

The first proprietors, from 1913 to 1915, were Theophile François Brest Frontier and Harry Samuel Pratt.

In 1916, Daniel A. Campbell became the proprietor of the business, which was at 990 Denman Street in 1916 and at 1785 Robson Street from 1917 to 1920.

No further information is available for Daniel A. Campbell.

 

Theophile François Brest Frontier

Theophile François Brest Frontier was born in Brittany. France, on August 10, 1885.

He lived in Vancouver from 1913 to 1915.

In 1932, Theophile was living in Kamloops, British Columbia. He was in a real estate and insurance business with William Brennan.

On July 17, 1933, in Portland, Oregon, Theophile married Helen Louise Dixon. She was born in Sackville, New Brunswick, on January 28, 1899. Her parents were Hiawatha Dixon (1861-1907) and Louise Marie Copp (1869-1961).

Theophile died in Kamloops on March 8, 1934. He was buried in Pleasant Street Cemetery in Kamloops.

Helen died in Vancouver on July 12, 1987.
