Nelson Street

Nelson Street runs through downtown Vancouver from Beatty Street to the edge of Stanley Park.

 

Source of name

Lauchlan Hamilton named this street after Hugh Nelson (1830-1893), who was a politician, and the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia from 1887 to 1892.
