Aumond, Charles de Bellefeuille (1884-1923)

Charles de Bellefeuille Aumond was an automobile salesman. He lived at 1952 Alberni Street in 1911.

He was born in Ottawa, Ontario on February 4, 1884. His father was William Henry Aumond (1841-1922), who was a civil servant. His mother was Mary Elizabeth Thompson (1849-1944).

Charles married Maida Charlotte Aloys Lloyd Hamilton. She was born in Ireland on May 23, 1889. Her father was John Lloyd Hamilton; her mother was Marjorie Meade.

Charles and Maida were divorced. Charles appears to have moved back to Ottawa. He enlisted with the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. He appears to have died in Michigan on 12 July 12, 1923.

On July 22, 1911, Maida married Francis Vere Agnew. He was a medical doctor, who was born in Belfast, Ireland on November 21, 1886. His father was Robert Agnew; his mother was Ellizabeth Gregg.

Maida died in Williams Lake, British Columbia on September 26, 1921. She was buried in St. Joseph’s Mission Cemetery, south of Williams Lake.

Francis Vere Agnew married Frances Audrey Newman on October 19, 1932, in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

Francis Vere Agnew died in Smithers, British Columbia on March 19, 1934. He was buried in Smithers. Frances Audrey Agnew died in Ganges, on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, on October 21, 1981.
