Hello,

I am just starting to research 2nd Lieutenant Arthur Laurie Burke who transferred (around April 1917) from the Canadian Expeditionary Force to the Prince of Wales Own West Yorkshire Regiment, when he was commissioned.  He survived the war but I know that he was wounded by a bullet in his elbow. I will try to get up to the NA where I believe his records are held, but in the meantime does anyone of the many WYR experts know what battalion he was in so that I can obtain the war diaries.

Many thanks for your help

TJP
