Henry Jackson Tippet was a civil engineer with the British Columbia Electric Railway. He lived at 1974 Georgia Street in 1913 and at 1154 Gilford Street from 1914 to 1916.

On March 11, 1912, in Vancouver, he married Dorothy Linney Leigh. She was born in Stockport, England on November 17, 1881. Her parents were Isaac Linney Leigh (1848-1914) and Frances Ann Scott (1853-1933)

Isaac Leigh died on October 26, 1914.

Joan Linney Tippet

Joan Linney Tippet was born in Vancouver on March 20, 1915.

She lived with her parents in New Haven, Connecticut until the 1940s.

On January 6, 1945, in Portland, Oregon, she married Ernest Cesar Zupa. He was born in Yonkers, New York on August 27, 1912.

Joan and Ernest lived in York, Pennsylvania and Hamden, Connecticut.
