Ada Emma Markham was a nurse and physiotherapist. She lived at 1102 Denman Street in 1913 and 1914.

Ada Emma Markham was born in West Mortimer, Essex, on December 27, 1872. Her father was Charles Markham (1827-1897). Her mother was Harriet Ada Smee (1839-1891)

Ada appears to have worked in England as a nurse.

In April 1911, she sailed to Canada on R.M.S. Royal Edward.

Ada landed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on her way to Victoria, British Columbia.

She first appeared in the Vancouver directories in 1913. She was living at 1102 Denman Street. She lived at the following addresses in Vancouver.

From the 1920s to the 1950s, Ada moved frequently, usually living in apartments, often in Holly Lodge, 1210 Jervis Street.

Ada did not marry. She retired about 1947.

She died in Vancouver on February 2, 1954. She was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Burnaby, British Columbia.
