Norman Percy Greer

Norman Percy Greer was a salesman for Mason and Hickey. He lived at 1920 Pendrell Street from 1922 to 1923.

He was born in Mount Pleasant, Ontario on August 2, 1883. His parents were John W. Greer and Elizabeth McIndoo.

On June 23, 1909, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he married Olive (“Elsie”) Gertrude Spink. She was born in Winnipeg on October 28, 1888. Her father was Samuel Spink.

Thomas Rhys Hamer

Thomas Rhys Hamer was a clerk with the Canadian Pacific Railway. He lived at 1920 Pendrell Street from about 1924 to 1942.

He was born in Cardiff, Wales on May 15, 1885. His parents were David and Edith Hamer.

On August 16, 1913, in Vancouver, he married Florence Muriel Sharpe. She was born on November 11, 1891 in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were Edward Sharpe and Muriel (Isabella) Logan.

In 1942, Florence petitioned to regain her United States citizenship, which she had lost through marriage and residence abroad.
