Ernest Vivian Dangerfield was an employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway. He lived at 2061 Beach Avenue in 1902 and 1903.

Ernest Vivian Dangerfield was born on May 28, 1876, in Brixton, Surrey, England.

His father was William Frederick Dangerfield, who was born in Ashford, Kent, England; his mother was Alice Gertrude Langford. They were married in Hastings, Sussex, England in the last quarter of 1870.

Ernest Vivian Dangerfield arrived in Canada about 1896. On November 17, 1900, in Vancouver, he married Anne Isabel Coone. She was born on July 23, 1876 in Manilla, Mariposa Township, Ontario. Her father was William Coone (1835-1888); her mother was Isabella McFadden (or McPhaden).

Ernest and Anne’s first son, Ernest George Dangerfield, was born on March 3, 1903, in Vancouver.

By 1908, the family was living in Calgary, Alberta. Ernest was active in the Calgary Cricket Club; he was a member of the Masons in Calgary.

Ernest and Anne’s second son, Allan Frederick Dangerfield, was born in Calgary, Alberta, on August 12, 1911.

Ernest became the station master for the Canadian Pacific Railway in Vancouver. He died in Vancouver on January 16, 1943. He was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Anne died in Vancouver on February 22, 1970. She was buried  in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Ernest and Anne had two sons.

 

Ernest George Dangerfield

Ernest George Dangerfield was born on March 3, 1903, in Vancouver. He was living in San Francisco, California in 1940; in 1943, he was living in Seattle, Washington.

 

Allan Frederick Dangerfield

Allan Frederick Dangerfield was born in Calgary, Alberta on August 12, 1911. He became a chiropractor. He married Bertha Adams Ross.

Allan died in Kamloops, British Columbia, on April 21, 1991.

Bertha died in Kamloops on August 4, 1994.

Allan Frederick Dangerfield, obituary, Kamloops Daily News, April 23, 1991, page A9 and April 24, 1991, page A14:

Dangerfield: On April 21st, 1991, Dr. Allan Frederick Dangerfield of Kamloops and formerly of Paul Lake, B.C., passed away at the age of 79 years.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Bertha, one son Dale Callow of Kamloops, one grandson Jamie also of Kamloops, and brother-in-law Stew Curtis and family of Vancouver.

Dr. Dangerfield was born in Calgary, Alberta and after graduation he entered the Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated in December 1935 and passed the board examination with the highest honors of 98.8%,·a mark never equalled or surpassed in Vancouver. He practiced in Vancouver and lectured in Canada and U.S.A. from 1935 to 1976. Dr. Dangerfield taught as Professor of Chiropractors at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon from 1976 to 1980, this distinction given to very few.

In 1980 he moved to Paul Lake, B.C. and continued to practice until his retirement in 1988.

Reverend Don Waldon will conduct the Memorial Service in the Kamloops United Church on Thursday, April 25th, 1991 at 1:00 p.m.

Ronald Kenneth Hunter (September 18, 1989 – September, 6, 2017).

Ronnie Hunter passed away in Grande Prairie, Alberta on September 6, 2017 at the age of 27 years.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his fiancé Nicole Schultz, his mother Sheryl Smith (Bob), his father Ronald Hunter, his grandparents Pat Marcynuik and Dale Callow, his sisters Bo-Rayanne Sayewich (Nicholas), Stephanie Danyluk (Richard) and Jodi-Marie Smith, his brother Derek Smith, as well as his nieces and nephew Taylor Kylie, Mykayla Danyluk, Haylee Smith and Hayden Smith, many friends and relatives. He had many aunts, uncles and cousins to mourn him as well.

Ronnie lived for his family. He was the best son and little brother anyone could ask for. Ronnie was currently “over the moon”, as he was going to be a husband and a father himself. His faithful canine companion “Moose” will always be looking for him.

Ronnie will be missed beyond what words could ever express. He was loved by all and will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 30, 2017 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at The Rainbow Roost, 6675 Westsyde Rd, Kamloops, BC.
