In 1891 and 1901, Philip was living with his parents in Oshawa.

In 1910, he was a clerk for the Dominion Bank in Vancouver.

In 1911 he was back in Oshawa, working as a bank employee.

By 1917, he was the manager of Dominion Bank’s branch in Toronto.

Miriam was born in Toronto on October 2, 1923, and was the great niece of Sir Henry Pellatt, creator and developer of Casa Loma in Toronto and cousin to renowned author and humourist Stephen Leacock of Orillia. She was predeceased by her husband J. Irvine McKee (1986). Loving mom of Hugh (Marian), Stephanie McKee, Deirdre Fretwell (William) and Adrienne Mika (Vito). Nana of Gwendolyn, Deirdre, and Brenden, great Nana of Audrey, Nolan and Pyotr. Remembered by her nephew Alex Millar and niece Michal Crowe. Predeceased by her oldest granddaughter Carmen Jones Barrie (2009) and her sister Stephanie Millar (1982). Miriam retired as a ward secretary at Sarnia General Hospital after 25 years of service. She volunteered her time between Central Baptist Church, Meals on Wheels, and Red Cross. Miriam was always thinking of others and there to help others. Cremation has already taken place. Miriam’s church family was important to her. A service celebrating Miriam’s Life will be held at Central Baptist Church, 391 London Road, Sarnia, on Friday January 19th at 1 pm. It is as follows:—A very pretty wedding was solemnized in Knox church last evening when Miss Ianthe Livingstone, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. K Hardie, was united in marriage to James Sewell Jones, manager of the Bank of Montreal at High River. Rev. A. M. Gordon performed the ceremony. Promptly at nine o’clock to the strains of the “Bridal Chorus” from Lohengrin, played by Mrs. Q. B. Fleming, the bridal party entered the church. The bride, who was given away by her father, was very stately and beautifully gowned in ivory [. . .] satin, made en train In the Empire style, with a bodice of real lace and a garniture of pearls. She wore a Juliette cap with a long tulle veil, and carried a shower bouquet of bride’s roses and lilies of the valley. Mrs. W. B. Murphy, of Winnipeg, who was her sister’s matron of honor, wore an imported gown of white satin, with a black tunic and a black velvet hat with white plumes and ermine trimmings.
