Lillian McWilliams was born Annie Lillian James in Toronto, Ontario on September 1, 1874. (She was often called Lillian.) Her parents were William Edward James (1848-1913) and Mary Jane McWilliams (1851–1895).
On November 29, 1898, in Brandon, Manitoba, she married George McWilliams, who was a blacksmith. He was born in Lakefield, Ontario on June 14, 1868. His parents were John Harper McWilliams (1843–1929) and Mary Jane McElwain (1838–1899).
George died in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on June 9, 1910.
By 1911, Lillian was living at 1915 Lakewood Drive in Vancouver.

John Maxwell McWilliams
John Maxwell McWilliams (often called “Maxwell”) was born in Rapid City, Manitoba on September 17, 1899.
He served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War.
On June 16, 1926, in Vancouver, he married Eileen Beatrice Male. She was born in Oxton, Birkenhead, England, on May 18, 1902. Her parents were John Gillies Male(1868–1951) and Nellie Christian Thorburn (1871-1970).
Maxwell died in Central Saanich, British Columbia, on June 16, 1980.
Eileen died in Burnaby, British Columbia, on October 10, 2000.
George Reginald McWilliams
George Reginald McWilliams was born on August 4, 1901, in Rapid City, Manitoba.
On January 21, 1928, in Victoria, British Columbia, he married Dorothy Anne Locke (or Lockie). She was born in St. Helens, England, on April 27, 1900. Her parents were William Lockie and Bertha Alice Phillips.
George died in Vancouver on February 21, 1974
Dorothy died in Essondale, British Columbia on June 13, 1974.

Mary Margaret McWilliams was born on June 16, 1905, in Rapid City, Manitoba, Canada.
On October 8, 1937, in Vancouver, she married Warwick William Lockyer, who was a painter. He was born in Lewisham, London, England, on August 29, 1905. His parents were William Constable Lockyer and Mabel Montgomery Moore.
Mary died in Vancouver on August 7, 1957.
William died in Prescott Valley, Arizona, on March 11, 2001.

Georgina Edna McWilliams was born in Vancouver on September 22, 1910.
She married Richard McGeorge, who was a labourer and packer. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on May 21, 1907. His parents were George Samuel McGeorge and Jean Clark Wood.
Georgina died in Abbotsford, British Columbia, on July 12, 1988.
Richard died in Vancouver on October 29, 1991.

She was born and spent her life in Victoria. Gloria enjoyed a secretarial career with the B.C. Government, retiring as a Deputy Minister’s secretary in 1962 to marry Harold McWilliams, who predeceased her. She was active in community work and possessed a keen sense of humour. She was President of Chapter AA, PEO sisterhood; Captain, Ladies Division, Uplands Golf Club; and Secretary, B.C. Gov’t. Retired Employees’ Assn. Gloria is survived by the families of stepson Jim McWilliams and his wife, Barbara and deceased stepdaughter Diana Donaldson , consisting of six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Gloria has two close cousins, Judy Seamands and James Vey. The family appreciates the frequent visits by friends Ione Humphrey, Ruth King and Anna and Joe Brown. Thanks also to the caring staff and volunteers at the Palliative Care Unit at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. A celebration of her life is being planned, following interment at Royal Oak Burial Park. 505459
