Finley MacFarlane was an engineer with Albion Iron Works. He lived at 1898 Beach Avenue in 1903 (and possibly in 1902).

Finley MacFarlane was born in Kirkcowan, Scotland in May 27, 1869. His father was William Macfarlane. His mother was Agnes Johnstone.

Finley moved to Canada in the late 1880s or early 1890s. On June 21, 1893, in Vancouver, he married Mary Anne Langlands. She was born on December 26, 1868, in Tynemouth, South Shields, England. Her father was James Langlands. Her mother was Mary Ann Elizabeth Germain.

In 1897, Finley was living in New Westminster. He was working as an asylum attendant.

Finley was in the Vancouver directories in 1902. He was an engineer with Albion Iron Works. He was living in an unnumbered house on Beach Avenue (which may have been 1898 Beach Avenue).

He later worked at a series of businesses, often as a stockkeeper or as a “helper” or “engineer.”

Finley died in Vancouver on March 25, 1937. He was buried in Ocean View Burial Park in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Mary Ann died at the Home for the Aged in Coquitlam, British Columbia. She was buried in Ocean View Burial Park in Burnaby.

It appears that Finley and Mary Ann did not have children.
