Archibald Robert Turner was a clerk with the Canadian Pacific Railway. He lived at 1929 Beach Avenue in 1903.

The directory also shows an A.W. Turner at 1929 Beach Avenue. This appears to be a duplicate listing, and the W. appears to be an error.

Archibald and Nellie were in Vancouver between 1901 and 1908.

From about 1908 to 1919, the Turner family did not appear in the Vancouver directories. It appears that they spent most or all of that time in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

In 1910, the Turner family travelled to England. They returned to Quebec City, sailing on the Lake Manitoba. They were headed to Saskatoon.

Archibald was an accountant in Saskatoon in 1910 and 1916.

In 1911 he was with a wholesale grocery firm called the Codville Company.
