In 1881 Percy was living with his parents in Liverpool.
In 1891 he was a student at Buxton College in Hartington, Derbyshire.
In 1901 he was visiting in Birkdale, Lancashire. He was working as a tobacco manufacturer.
In 1902, it appears that he was a passenger on S.S. Mariposa, sailing from Sydney, Australia, to San Francisco, California.
Arrival in Vancouver
Percy first appeared in the Vancouver directories in 1905. He was rooming with his brother, William, at 1204 Pender Street. Percy and William were operating a cigar store and billiard hall at 622 Granville Street.

On October 9, 1907, in Vancouver, Percy married Mabel Gertrude Heathcote. She was born in Richmond, Surrey, England, on February 14, 1889. It appears that her surname may originally have been Wells, and that her parents were Augustus Frederick Wells and Minnie Gertrude Day (or Death).
In 1911, Percy’s name appeared on the list of people who were “absent from the district” and who were about to be struck from the list of voters.
In 1913, Percy was working as a realtor in Vancouver.
On June 18, 1916, in Nelson, British Columbia, Percy signed his attestation papers to serve with the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. He was discharged on May 5, 1919. For a period of time in 1919 he lived at the Abbotsford Hotel, at 921 West Pender Street.
He did not appear in the Vancouver directories after 1919.
On October 9, 1926, Percy (probably with Mabel) moved to the United States.
In 1934, Percy applied to become a naturalized United States citizen.
In the 1940s, Percy and Mabel were living at 4022 Madelia Avenue in Los Angeles.
Percy died in Los Angeles, California, on August 29, 1952.

Marjorie Truelove Heathcote Callaghan was born in Vancouver on January 22, 1909.
In 1911 she was living with her parents in Vancouver.
She later moved with her parents to live in California.
On June 18, 1912, in Los Angeles, California, she married Desmond Allen Turquand. He was born in England on August 7, 1906. In 1931, Desmond and Marjorie were living in Los Angeles. This marriage ended in divorce. Desmond died in California on October 27, 1964. He was buried in Los Angeles National Cemetery.
In 1940, Marjorie was living in Reno, Nevada.
On September 27, 1940, in Los Angeles, Marjorie married Hugh Donald Mabie. He was born in Tekamah, Nebraska, on October 19, 1915 His parents were Harry E. Mabie and Dora Ellen Patterson.
Hugh died on November 30, 1999.
