Ethel Gertrude Clark and Frederick Nello Lawrance, wedding description, Vancouver Sun, November 28, 1913, page 8:

“Lawrance-Clarke

About one and twenty-five guests were present at the ceremonies attendant upon the marriage last evening of Miss Ethel Gertrude Clarke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold C. Clarke, to Mr. Frederick Nello Lawrance, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.G. Lawrance, 1223 Georgia street. Rev. Ever Crummy, D.D., conducted the marriage service at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Clarke, 1246 Haro Street, Mr. Clarke giving away his daughter, who was attended by Mrs. Stuart Lane, her cousin, as matron of honor, Miss Greta Crandall as bridesmaid, and a little flower maid, Miss Louise Page, niece of the groom. Included in the entourage were also Masters Russell and Vernon Clarke, brothers of the bride, who, in pages’ court costume of white and royal purple, ushered the bridal party into the drawing room for the ceremony. . . .

Mr. Roy Lawrance was best man to his brother, and Mr. Thomas E. Lawrance and Mr. Stuart Lane acted as ushers. . . .

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrance, upon their return from Seattle, whither they have gone for their honeymoon, are to reside in Vernon. . . .”
