Charles Wilmott Veysey

The first occupant of the house was Charles Wilmott Veysey (1875-1955), who was an accountant with the Hudson’s Bay Company.

Charles Graham Pennock

The third occupant was Charles Graham Pennock (1869-1946). He was a long-term employee of the Bank of Ottawa before he became the general manager of the Bank of Vancouver in 1913 and 1914.

From about 1917 to about 1921, Charles Pennock was in a brokerage firm with William Ritchie Robertson, who lived at 1951 Robson Street for most of the time between 1908 and 1927.

In 1951, the house was for sale.
