1955 Haro Street was on the north side of Haro Street, east of Chilco Street.

In the 1920s, Reginald Hibbert Tupper and his wife, Isabel, lived in the house. (Reginald Tupper was the son of Sir Charles Hibbert Tupper, who lived at 2050 Barclay Street.)

Sara Andrews (“Dolly”) Dewar later operated 1955 Haro Street as a room and board residence. (She lived across the street at 1966 Haro Street, which she also ran as a boarding house.)

In 1950, the contents of 1955 Haro Street were for sale by auction.
