Rebecca Lacey was the widow of William Lacey. She lived at 1938 Beach Avenue in 1906.

 

Early Life

Rebecca Lacey was born Rebecca Law on July 20 1846 in Ashford, Kent, England. Her parents were James Law and Anne Bailey. James Law died in 1852.

By 1861, Rebecca was living in Toronto, Ontario, with her mother, who was married to Richard Carter.

 

Marriage to William Lacey

On October 31, 1868, in Welland, Ontario, Rebecca married William Lacey. He was born on March 15, 1846 in Drummondville, Ontario. His parents were William and Susan Lacey.

From 1871 to 1891, the Lacey family lived in Welland.

 

To Vancouver

By 1898, William and Rebecca were Vancouver. William was a plasterer.

Walter William Lacey was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, on August 4, 1869.

He worked as an inspector for the Canadian Pacific Railway.

He died in Vancouver on December 18, 1936. He was buried in Ocean view Burial Park in Burnaby, British Columbia.

He was married to Kathleen (1868-1945). She was buried in Ocean view Burial Park in Burnaby.

 

Edith Ann Lacey

Edith Ann Lacey was born on March 15, 1871, in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

She did not marry.

She operated a photography business and a general store.

She died in Vancouver on May 12, 1951.

 

Norman Herbert Lacey

Norman Herbert Lacey was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario on July 28 1881 (or 1880).

He worked as a gardener.

On October 8, 1906, in Vancouver, he married Maud Churchill. She was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, on March 18, 1885. Her parents were Mark Churchill and Elizabeth Happell.

Maud died in Essondale, British Columbia, on September 25, 1930.

On September 17, 1932 in Vancouver, Norman married Edna Jane Greyell. She was born in Chilliwack, British Columbia, on March 13, 1892. Her parents were Peter Greyell and Leila Ann Procter.

Norman died in Vancouver on January 9, 1969.

Edna died in Vancouver on August 7, 1970.

 

Franklin (“Frank”) Percival Lacey

Franklin Percival Lacey was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, on July 29, 1881.

On December 25, 1908, in Vancouver, he married Lillian May Bell.

They later lived in Bellingham, Washington.

Frank died on November 26, 1959. He was buried in Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale, Washington.

Lillian died in Washington on July 16, 1966. She was buried in Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale, Washington.
