  1. In Henderson’s directory for 1921 Henry B Bell-Irving is listed as residing at 1973 Haro St. The 1921 census lists Henry B, his wife Ann Hilda and his children Henry Pybus, Ruth, Mary, Wendy, and Roderick Keith as residing at 1913 Haro, but I believe that is due to a transcribing error mistaking the 7 for a 1.

    • Hello Kim,

Thank you for pointing out this information. I am sure that you are correct. It appears from the directories and the fire insurance maps that there was no 1913 Haro Street. So 1973 Haro Street does seem to be the right house number.

      Robert

  2. Thank you Robert for checking into this. My grandmother was the Nanny to the Bell-Irving family when she first came to Canada in 1918
