W. Leslie Clay at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian church at 7 o’clock last evening, in the presence of a large and congratulatory company of friends. The church had been very prettily decorated in spring flowers and the nuptial celebration was one of the prettiest of the evening weddings of the current season. The principals were Mr. Ernest David Dowler and Miss Margaret V. Rankin, for some head nurse at the Jubilee hospital, during her identification with which institution she made very many friends. The bride, who was attired for the ceremony in her modish traveling costume of brown ladies’ cloth and carried a bouquet of roses, was given away by Mr. Alex. Ferguson, a near relative. The nurses of the Jubilee attended the church wedding in a body. Mr. and Mrs. Dowler upon their return from the Sound will make their home on Heywood avenue.”
