Charles Webster was a shoemaker who lived and worked at 986 Denman Street in 1915.

 

Early Life

Charles Webster was born in Peterhead, Scotland about 1884.

 

To Canada

Charles arrived in Vancouver about 1912.

In 1913 he was a shoemaker with Christian Peters and Company at 2350 Main Street. He was living at 2517 Main Street.

In 1914, he was the proprietor of the Davie Shoe Repairing Shop. He lived at 1057 West Seventh Avenue.

In 1915, he was at 986 Denman Street.

He travelled to New Zealand in 1919.

At the time of the 1921 Canada census, he was living at 2614 West Fourth Avenue. He was working as a cobbler.

In 1930, he again travelled to New Zealand. He returned to Canada on R.M.M.S. Aorangi on November 6, 1930.
