He travelled to New Zealand in 1919.
At the time of the 1921 Canada census, he was living at 2614 West Fourth Avenue. He was working as a cobbler.
In 1930, he again travelled to New Zealand. He returned to Canada on R.M.M.S. Aorangi on November 6, 1930.

In 1935, he was working as a shoemaker.

He lived at 2614 West Fourth Avenue until 1937.
In 1937, he sailed from Vancouver to Melbourne, Australia.
