Teigo (or Tage) Noritake was the manager of the Japan and Canada Trust Savings Company. He lived at 1950 Nelson Street in 1919 and 1920.

He was born in Japan about 1888. He may have arrived in Canada as early as 1910, but he first appeared in Vancouver about 1918.

In the 1921 Canada Census, his wife’s name appears as Soetaen. She was born in Japan about 1900.

They had a daughter named Yoshi, who was born in British Columbia about 1919.

The Japan and Canada Trust Savings Company was in the Tamura Building, at the corner of Powell Street and Dunleavy Street in Vancouver. It was later known as the New World Hotel; the building was still there in 2014.
