William Sowden Holland lived in this house from 1904 to 1919.

The house remained a private home until the mid-1930s.

In 1935, Stanley Alton was renting rooms in the house.

In 1953, the City of Vancouver approved plans to build a six-storey apartment on the site.

In the fall of 1953, the house was demolished.

The replacement building appeared in 1956. It was called the Park-Comox Apartments, and it had an address of 2090 Comox Street.
