Ralph Samuel Clark worked in the real estate department of Faulds Financial and Travel Bureau in 1920. He also worked as a salesman for Faulds McQueen and Pearce. He lived at 2033 Comox Street from 1920 to 1924.

He was born in Ingersoll, Ontario, on July 14, 1875. His parents were George F. Clark (1840-1908) and Elizabeth Clark. Ralph’s father was a cabinet maker and undertaker in Ingersoll.

By 1891, Ralph was an apprentice upholsterer. He was living with his parents in Ingersoll.

The 1901 Canada census said that Ralph was living in Nelson, British Columbia, and was working as an upholsterer. (He also appeared in the 1901 census with his parents in Ingersoll.)

According to the 1903 Nelson voters list, Ralph was an embalmer who lived on Silica Street in Nelson.
