Heritage Vancouver Society confirms that the City of Vancouver issued a building permit on October 29, 1906 to William McNeill for a house valued at $8,000. The architect was Samuel Maclure.

There is one reference to this property in Heritage Vancouver Society’s database of historic building permits: http://permits.heritagevancouver.org/index.php?cID=1 [searched January 31, 2019]. Presumably it relates to the small building at the northeast corner of Lot 27 (above).
