Frederick Baldwin Camplin was a broker and salesmen who worked for the National Oil Company in Vancouver. He lived at 2047 Pendrell Street in 1919.

Early Life

Frederick Baldwin Camplin was born on August 29, 1887, in Beeton, Simcoe County, Ontario. It appears that his parents were William Camplin and Jessie Jane Schoolcroft. William Camplin was a butcher in Beeton.

On June 22, 1911, in Vancouver, Frederick married Fannie Rose Botting. She was born about 1887 in London, England. Her parents were Walter Botting and Fannie Harriet Guy.

Frederick enlisted with the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. About 1918 he was invalided out of the military.

He later moved to no. 39, 1455 West 8th Avenue.

On June 30, 1922, in Orange County, California, Frederick married Edna Marschrider, who was a secretary. She was born in New York State about 1896. Her parents were Edward Marschrider and Regina Berst.

In the 1930 United States census, Fred B. Camplin was living in San Diego, California. The census described him as “single.”
