I updated the page on Walter William Clarke, who was a journalist, sometimes known as “The Rambler.” He lived at 1872 Pendrell Street in 1912 and 1913.
Walter’s daughter, Alma, was a well-known pianist who was charged and acquitted in the murder of her architect husband, Francis Mawson Rattenbury.
I added information on his possible death in 1929, along with details on his wife’s second marriage in 1926.

The Vancouver directory also has a listing for E.J. Wilson, a printer who lived at 1120 Denman Street in 1917. It appears that these are duplicate listings for the same person (that is, “E.J. Wilson” should probably be “R.J. Wilson”).
I added a new page on Alfred Cyril Hirschfeld, who was a photographer, newspaper publisher, miner, and a real estate and financial broker.
According to the Vancouver directories, Alfred lived at 1961 Comox Street in 1910, at 1963 Comox Street in 1911 and 1912, and at number 47, 2046 Beach Avenue in 1913.
He was the builder and first owner of “Hirschfield House” (spelled with two “i”s). (He normally spelled his surname as “Hirschfeld,” but some sources say “Hirschfield” or “Hirchfeld.”)
