I updated the page on the Sylvia Court Apartments (later the Sylvia Hotel), which is on the northeast corner of Gilford Street and Beach Avenue. The street address is 1154 Gilford Street.

Zachariah Simpson, Senior, was a tailor and boat-builder who lived on Beach Avenue from about 1890 to 1910.

Simpson’s Boat House was a boat rental business on the shore of English Bay.

The Simpson Block was a four-storey apartment building at the northeast corner of Denman Street and Davie Street.
