I added a new page on the Denman Billiard Room, which was at 1182 Denman Street in 1909 and 1910. (It was sometimes called the “Denman Billiard Parlour.”)

Thomas Smith Heaslip was the manager of the billiard room. He lived at 1180 Denman Street in 1909.

English Bay Natatorium

I updated the page on the the English Bay Natatorium, which was a swimming facility at 1869 Beach Avenue in 1909.

I added several articles from the Vancouver Daily World, along with some additional background information.

I added a new page on the Horseshoe Restaurant, which was at 1873 Georgia Street in 1914.

Maude Louise Miles (1886-1965) was the operator of the restaurant. She lived at 1873 Georgia Street in 1914. She managed another restaurant at 1968 Georgia Street in 1915. Further information appears on the page for Maude Louise Miles (1886-1965).

William Henry Harvey (1845-1933)

I added a new page on William Henry Harvey. He operated a wood creosoting business called the Dominion Carbolineum Works Limited at 1803 Georgia Street from 1903 to 1909.

English Bay Natatorium

I added a new page on the English Bay Natatorium, which was a swimming facility at 1869 Beach Avenue in 1909.

Harry G. Koller (1864-1932) was a proprietor of the natatorium, along with Henry Dowse. (Harry Koller was also the first manager of the nearby Imperial Roller Skating Rink.)

The manager of the natatorium was William De Silva (who lived at 1859 Beach Avenue from 1904 to 1906, and at 1830 Pendrell Street from 1907 to 1909).
