Duncan Robert Campbell was an assistant general manager and general superintendent of Canadian National Railways.
He as born in Kirkfield, Ontario on April 9, 1875.
He arrived in Vancouver about 1916. At first he stayed at the Vancouver Hotel.
From 1917 to 1919, he lived at 1958 Barclay Street.
In 1920 and 1921, he lived in Kensington Place apartments at 1386 Nicola Street.
By 1924, he was the superintendent of construction for the CNR. He was living in the Osborne River Apartments at 450 River Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He was still living in Winnipeg in 1931.
