Campbell, Archibald (1861-after 1914)

Archibald Campbell was a carpenter and clerk. He lived at 1830 Morton Avenue from 1911 to 1914.

He was born in August 1861, probably in East Looe, Cornwall. [Looe, From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Looe.]

He married Mary Jane Wright, probably in 1887. Mary Jane was born in July 1863, in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

The family came to Canada about 1906.

There is no additional information available for either Archibald Campbell or Mary Jane Campbell after 1914.

Archibald and Mary had a daughter.

Dora Loveday Campbell

Dora Loveday Campbell, who was born on February 17, 1891, in Bermondsey, London, England.

On March 5, 1914, in Vancouver, Dora Loveday Campbell married Frederick Ernest Mitchell. He was born on May 12, 1880 in Marsh, Cambridgeshire, England. His father was Hugh Mitchell; his mother was Jane Clarke.

Frederick served in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. After the war, he was a storekeeper. He died in Vancouver on October 2, 1967. He was buried in Ocean View Cemetery.

Dora died in Vancouver on May 20, 1954. She was buried in Ocean View Cemetery.

There is no additional information available for Kenneth Campbell. He was still living in 1967.

Frederick Archibald Mitchell

Frederick Archibald Mitchell was born in Vancouver on December 5, 1920. He married Marcella Johnson. He died in Vancouver on September 3, 1945.

Dora Irene Mitchell

Dora Irene Mitchell was born about 1916. She first married Alfred Bertram Warrilow on October 15, 1936. That marriage was dissolved in Vancouver on March 25, 1948. Sometime between 1954 and 1967, she married W. McLean.

Norma Mitchell

Norma Mitchell married J Straub, and later married S. Hornby.

Muriel Mitchell

Muriel Mitchell married Mr. Browell.
