He was a photographer who took many photos of buildings and businesses in British Columbia. He was well-known for his photos of passengers on the BC Electric open-air observation cars that travelled around Vancouver.

He lived at the following west of Denman addresses:

1911: 1813 Morton Avenue
1912: 1830 Alberni Street
1914: 810 – 1154 Gilford Street
1915 and 1916: 2061 Beach Avenue
